Meet the Staff
Alexander's started out as a one man fur shop in a tiny store on Main Street Bridgeport. With seven kids and a wife to provide for, he dedicated his life to his customers. It was family in the beginning and has continued that way for over 55 years! There's a reason why you feel at home in an instant at Alexander's....because we're all family.

Steve (also know as Alexander #2)
First son to Alexander - Steve has been here from the begining. He is the first one to unlock the door in the morning and the last one out at night. And I heard he has a direct link to the big man himself...Santa! Can't you see the resemblance? Our in house Spot Expert and Tailor - hes a one man show that you don't want to miss.
Alex (also know as Alexander #3)
Between running off to Vermont to ski and building an Entrepreneurial empire, Alex dedicates his days to chatting it up with customers, researching new business opportunities and dreaming of a day where Alexanders is bigger and better. He has added tremendous value to the business since he started....14 years ago (thanks to an after school job). He continues to outgrow expectations.
Doreen (the one who runs the place)
Doreeeeen! That is the sound you will hear frequently during your visit - short or long. With work up to her ears and a constant smile on her face, Alexander's could not run without her. Customers are constantly calling to give thanks for the extra mile she went to make their day special. You'll see her at the front counter taking orders, in the back entering the orders, and then finally pulling them together and delivering them back to you.
Kristin (the part-timer)
Always the bridesmaid...Kristin is as expert as they get. As a Part-Time Color specialist at Alexander's, Kristin knows her way around a wedding. When shes not running around on Bridal Party errands, she giving superior customer service at Alexander's. You could say its in the genes.
Mya (the charmer)
We know...you came to see the dog! Kids love her, our customers can't get enough of her....shes a hard working dog...who sleeps under the sewing machine, under the pressing machine, and makes an appearance when her favorite customers stop buy with treats. Don't be surprised if she greets you at the door. But don't worry she doesn't bite - and no she won't run out the door.
